Alberto’s got some pretty big boots to fill at anfield! I personally think we paid far too much for a player who’s constantly out injured, rafa should have gone for either silva or villa.. Still, i wish him the best of luck and welcome to anfield!

Yeah how do you Roma fans feel about this? Reading the English press and paying little attention to Serie A, I’d like to hear it.
Were you banking on him for the future? Is he replaceable?

Hey Roma fans, please don’t be mad that your Roma mad number 8 is gonna be playing alongside our Liverpool mad number 8! I think they gonna set the Premiership alight!!
Maybe Alberto will one day return to his spiritual home and fulfill his potential.Good luck for the coming season.Posted from

I am sceptical about this transfer . Every newspaper says he is injury prone and we are in no position for such a luxury . . Roma fans whats your opinion . .Also how s his attitude . . Is he a ronaldo type or our xabi type

i don’t know too much about xabi’s attitude, but he is defintely not a ronaldo type. when he is healthy, he does great things, especially when he was paired up with de rossi at roma or la nazionale, they are amazing. but yes, he is injury prone, although i have a hunch the medical staff at liverpool is probably better

it would seen that some Roma fans are very angry about this, id say 20mil is a good price for him, and in todays market that will buy a replacement who is, dare i repete this, less injury prone.
as a liverpool fan i hope he does well and i welcome him, this season shoud be interesting,Posted from

sorry for my earlier f-u. he’s our blood and reading the questions about him like he’s some random player while the wound was so fresh…

Hey thats ok man . . . We went through the same phase when owen left

Caco, why don’t you turn your anger toward the ones who SOLD him– even after they said it would never happen. And the one who never rated him– preferring Pizarro, etc. As much as it has absolutely crushed me to see him go– Rafa sees quality in him, is willing to drop a lot of money on him and wants to help him see his potential. I wanted him to stay at Roma forever, but I’m happy to see someone take interest in a player who has so much quality and potential.

youre right, im sorry liverpool fans, its just that i loved roma and aquilani was my favorite player not counting totti, and i am just so angry,

Caco… I feel the same way entirely. I know how you feel. Totti aside, Aquilani was my favorite too. I felt almost violent when I learned that they would be sacrificing him. I’ve supported Roma for 30 years and actually Liverpool for 20, but I never ever ever wanted him to go– anywhere. It only makes it a LITTLE bit better that he’s going to a team I support. The thought of him not playing for Roma makes me want to die, but I hope for the very best for him. He deserves it.
