Injured and Annoyed

By: Stephanie | March 29th, 2009

this is how it all started...Well, it looks like Roma fans aren’t the only ones who have been annoyed with the whole Aquilani, “I’m broken, and have no contract” situation. In a recent interview with Sky Sport, Albertino said of his contract:
“I am happy at Roma, I am a fan of this club and in the next few days we should make it official. As far as I am concerned, the terms are fine and we have an agreement. There are no problems.”

He went on to say that the only real problem left is, you know, actually playing sometime this year:
“I miss the pitch, I thought my ankle injury was less serious, but it’s been going on for a month. I have to stay still to get through it. Every day I wonder when I can return, but I don’t know. Another fifteen days and then we will see. It’s pointless to get more disappointed than this, and I hope to recover and be luckier in the future”.
Hopefully, the new contract will come soon, and Aqui will make a return to the pitch before his current contract expires.
