He’s almost back…

By: Stephanie | January 9th, 2009

alberto trains?Happy New Year, Offsiders! I realize the updates haven’t been coming frequently, but Albertino has only played like 3 games this year, you know. Channel 4 has reported that Aqui is thisclose to finally signing his contract extension:
Roma midfield star Alberto Aquilani is close to agreeing a four-year contract extension with the club. There have been doubts over the Azzurri ace’s future as he has stalled over putting pen to paper on a new deal.
It goes on to say that the deal could be signed around the middle of next month. Alberto is in doubt for the weekend game against Milan, due to a back problem. (There are reports that he also had wisdom teeth removed.) However, he did play in Wednesday’s friendly against Lanciano. I’m crossing my fingers in hope that his injury period for the season is over. It’s not just me who’s excited he’s back, just look at Bruno…
