Aqui Scores First Goals for the Azzurri!
By: Stephanie | October 15th, 2008
Since being promoted to the senior Azzurri squad, Aqui has been unable to score. However, that all changed today when he bagged a brace to help Italia beat Montenegro 2-1. Alberto said after the match, “This is the dream that every young player has. I had never scored for Italy before so this, and being in the starting XI with the Number 10 shirt, is incredible. I really could not have asked for anything more.” Hopefully Alberto ( and all the Romans who played today) can carry this form into the weekend to help Roma take down Inter… Congrats Alberto!

1. Yes! Yes! Yes!
It’s sort of a right thing to happen to Alberto after all his injury-wasted-seasons.

Aquilaniiiii!
Aquilani, De Rossi .. coming from the Totti school of football. They should be permanent in starters in the middle for the national team!
