The Best Alberto Video Out There
Supercoppa is Sunday; let’s hope the boys can bring the trophy back to Rome. Mostly because I hate that Balotelli kid. Alberto is rumored to be in the starting eleven, and I hope he does something great (like in the beginning of last season). Someone amazing put together this amazingly long amazing video. I mean seriously, it’s even got credits at the end. It’s definitely worth watching though. This Sunday:Inter, next Sunday: Napoli….Forza Roma!! I can’t wait for the season to start!!! Can you tell?
P.S. How strange/odd/fucked up was that Azzurri game?
Photos of the Day
By: Stephanie |So, the boys had a friendly against Egypt’s Al Ahly and won 3-0. God, I miss real games. The day before the game, Roma went to see the pyramids; Alberto said he was “really curious about how the Egyptions built them 5,000 years ago.” Yes, he really said that out loud. The start of the [...]

Juve loves Aqui

The Derby
By: Stephanie |Last year when Il Romanista asked Alberto what his favorite goal was, his most important, and his most “bellissima” goal he answered the same for all three: “The Derby.” Here are the highlights from the derby that was held on February 26, 2006. Alberto scores the second goal and the game ended
2-0. Forgive [...]

Aquilani: Off the Pitch
By: Stephanie |
The reason this blog was created was to document our little Roman whose career is on the rise. In an attempt to let Alberto’s fans know a little bit more about him, I thought I would have at least one post about his personal life. With [...]

Aquilani: On the Pitch
By: Stephanie |
Ok, so this is part one of a two part profile on Alberto. The 07/08 season started on a high for Aquilani, after the previous season was restricted due to injury (which apparently happens once a year). In week 1 Roma played Palermo, winning 2-0. [...]

Hello Offside!! I’m so excited to bring you a player’s blog for one of our favorite Romanisti Alberto Aquilani. Over the past couple of years he’s been the break out star for AS Roma and the Nazionale. I think he’s one of the most unique players [...]
